The Job Role Details:
As part of an ambitious plan to continue to grow the business in the UK, we wish to recruit a Sales Manager for the UK South West region.
Key Responsibilities:
You will…
1. Report to the UK Sales Manager.
2. As a Sales Representative for the South West of England, you will visit farms, and you are responsible for sales in your area.
3. Be selling dairy equipment directly to farmers and the dealer distributor network.
4. Develop new customer acquisition.
5. Work through the whole sales process from lead generation through to closing the sale.
6. Pursue new sales leads from the dealer network, trade shows, customer referrals and market influencers such as farm consultants, vets and buying groups.
7. Keep up-to-date on developments in the dairy sector and the milking equipment market.
8. Be responsible for the revenue in your area and the development of market penetration.
9. Co-operate with other internal departments such as the Marketing and the Technical Service teams.
10. Planning your working time and sales trips as well as recording daily all relevant information from these appointments into the CRM system.
11. Work towards clearly defined performance measurements and sales targets.
12. Report on your sales pipeline of leads and prospects weekly and monthly.
13. Participate at sales team conference's and training sessions.

14. Living within Devon or Cornwall.
15. Experience working in the farming industry - ideally dairy farming.
16. Driven and motivated - keen to develop a successful agricultural sales career.
17. Confident self-starter.
18. IT literate.
19. You are happy to travel regularly from your home office, including some overnight stays
