Band 8a Clinical Psychologist Preceptorship
We welcome applications from Band 8a Clinical/Counselling/Forensic Psychologists to join our Community Learning Disabilities Team in the Learning Disabilities Division. This is a 1.0 WTE position based in Birmingham (Kings Norton, Small Heath, or Erdington), with the flexibility of remote working and part‑time requests considered.
Responsibilities
* Deliver specialist psychological assessments and therapy for individuals, groups and families.
* Provide consultation to professionals and support the multidisciplinary team.
* Work within a community-based service, traveling throughout Birmingham and occasionally out of area.
* Engage in a team culture that values relationships, attachment, trauma‑informed and systemic approaches.
Qualifications & Experience
* Registered Clinical Psychologist with relevant experience in counselling or forensic settings.
* Demonstrated ability to work in a community learning disabilities context.
