Key responsibilities include:
* Planning and delivering high-quality Food Technology lessons across KS3 and KS4
* Teaching practical cooking skills and food preparation techniques
* Educating pupils on nutrition, healthy eating, and food safety
* Managing the food technology classroom and ensuring safe working practices
* Assessing pupil progress and providing constructive feedback
* Supporting pupils of varying abilities through differentiated teaching strategies
* Contributing to departmental planning and curriculum development

Experience and Skills
The successful candidate will:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
* Have strong subject knowledge in Food Technology or a related discipline
* Demonstrate the ability to deliver engaging and practical lessons
* Be confident managing practical classrooms and maintaining safety standards
* Possess excellent classroom management and communication skills
