Junior IT Support Engineer (FTC) Dambuster Studios - creators of the number one BAFTA-nominated smash hit Dead Island 2 - has an exciting opportunity for a Junior IT Support Engineer to join our highly talented IT & Facilities team. Role overview We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Junior Support Engineer. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a keen interest in supporting a game dev studio, gain real-world experience, and develop a broad range of technical skills. You’ll work closely with senior engineers and other departments, supporting a mix of studio-based, hybrid, and remote users, while learning on the job and contributing to the smooth running of our IT systems. Please note: This is a fixed-term contract position, ending December 2026. This role is being offered on an in-studio basis, and will require the successful applicant to be able to attend the studio Monday to Friday, and live within 50 miles of our Nottingham studio. Deployment and update of software. Desk setup and breakdown of IT equipment for new starters and leavers. Maintenance of shared machines (Hot desks/meeting rooms). Maintaining hardware asset database. Keeping IT office and stock areas tidy, accessible and organised. Hardware stock control. Monitoring ticket system and chat channels to respond efficiently and timely.
