We are currently recruiting for a Ched de Partie to join our team at one of our conference venues in Maidenhead, SL6. As a Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day culinary operations of a busy kitchen that runs 7 days a week, from 6:30am to 10pm. This is a full-time position (40 hours per week), working 5 out of 7 days on a rota basis, with shifts covering both mornings and evenings. This role as Chef de Partie comes with great benefits, including a Christmas break, access to an onsite allotment, and free staff parking. Our Chef de Partie will enjoy working in a kitchen with full creative autonomy. We focus on producing expressive, seasonal menus made entirely from scratch, using only the freshest ingredients. Our team actively engages with customers during breakfast, lunch, and dinner service, so great communication skills are key. As our Chef de Partie, you will: Have 3 years minimum experience in a similar role Have excellent people skills Have general knowledge of food hygiene, NVQ level 2 or equivalent Be passionate about food and customer service Have superb culinary skills Have good organisational and communication skills Be able to work on your own initiative and as part of a large team of 6 Be eligible to work in the UK You will be able to create and develop our dishes and will assist the Chefs in creation of weekly menus. A knowledge and understanding of the importance of stock control and food wastage is essential.
