The postholder is contracted to be on standby / work a 45-hour week with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break, based on 10-hour shifts within a 24-hour time window from Wednesday to Sunday to satisfy standby emergency response requirements. Additionally, there is a significant requirement to be available for overtime. Usual hours will be from 19:00 to 05:00; however, shift hours may be altered to accommodate work requirements with prior notice.
The postholder is required to operate any company vehicle for which they are suitably qualified. As the duties of this post involve professional driving, all operation of company vehicles must be undertaken safely and in full compliance with relevant laws and legislation. Furthermore, the postholder will undertake duties associated with that of an operator.
