About the Role
We are looking for experienced social workers who enjoy working as part of a multi‑agency team in a fast‑paced environment. You will join a friendly and established team whose emphasis is on ‘making safeguarding personal’ and delivering a proportionate response to concerns raised about adults at risk. The team works with adults aged 18 and above across all areas, specialising in undertaking adult safeguarding duties in line with Section 42 of the Care Act 2014.
Requirements
* A social work qualification (including Social Work England registration) and completion of your Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE)
* Experience and knowledge of safeguarding work and ‘making safeguarding personal’
* The ability to work on your own initiative whilst working closely with colleagues, partner agencies and community teams
* Awareness of Nottinghamshire’s Adult Care Strategy and an understanding of relevant national policy and legislation underpinning social work practice
* Evidence of continued professional development
* Experience of analysing complex referrals and working with internal and external partners
* Effective communication, organisational and IT skills are essential
