Cyber Simulated Attack Specialist
Join us as a Cyber Simulated Attack Specialist on a 12 month Fixed-Term Contract at QinetiQ.
Role
As a Cyber Simulated Attack Specialist, you will be part of a testing team undertaking CHECK and non-CHECK security testing works for customers. You will also act as the infrastructure CHECK team leader.
Your Responsibilities
* Undertake CHECK and non-CHECK security testing
* Travel to client sites to carry out security testing engagements
* Research and develop new attack techniques that support and enhance QinetiQ security testing capability
* Develop junior colleagues and collaborate within the team
* Propose mitigations for identified vulnerabilities and write reports of security testing engagements, including signing off reports
* Scope, estimate, and bid customer engagements as required and directed
Essential Experience
* Ability to document, create, and sign off test reports
* Strong understanding of Active Directory, infrastructure, cloud security and common operating systems
* Previous experience delivering security testing services as a qualified (CREST or Cyber Scheme) tester
* NCSC CHECK Team Leader status in infrastructure (CCT-INF or CSTL-INF)
* Strong understanding of relevant laws and legal frameworks for security testing

This role is 37 hours per week based at any one of our UK sites, with hybrid working patterns available.
