The Physiotherapy Department at The Holly Hospital Nuffield are looking for someone to support the clinical team as a bank Physiotherapy Assistant to ensure we are delivering high quality patient care, in order to optimise their post-operative recovery and well-being.
The role would include assisting the Physiotherapists in treating patients on the ward following total hip and knee replacements, back surgeries and orthopaedic day cases. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, flexible and willing to learn. As this is a bank role, previous clinical experience as a Physiotherapy Assistant is essential!
Responsibilities
* Assist the physiotherapist with their In patient ward rounds.
* You will ensure equipment is cleaned in line with infection prevention.
* Ensure that all clinical records are accurately maintained and conform to all legal requirements.
* Complete administrative duties and telephone work to support the therapy and nursing teams to enable smooth and efficient care throughout the patient journey.
* Review and report stock level and supplies to ensure the clinical environment is fit for purpose.
