About the Role
At Vipond, we offer a dedicated and enthusiastic Trainee Fire Alarm and Mechanical Hybrid Engineer role, designed to support the team in the installation, maintenance and servicing of fire alarm systems and mechanical building services. This entry‑level position provides hands‑on training and progressive responsibility as you develop your skills.
Responsibilities
* Work alongside experienced engineers to install, maintain and service fire alarm systems and mechanical building services.
* Receive hands‑on training and gradually take on increasing responsibility as skills develop.
Qualifications
* Strong interest in a technical/engineering career.
* Willingness to learn and take instruction.
* Good problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
* Basic understanding of mechanical or electrical systems (from school, college, or practical experience).
* Full UK driving licence (or working towards it, depending on region and role).
* Willing and able to drive long distances, stay in hotels when required, and work away from home.
* Self‑motivated and comfortable working alone, capable of planning own working schedule.
