The Role
We’re looking for a capable and collaborative Resourcing Manager to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role that sits within the Delivery function and reports directly to the Head of Delivery.
The focus of the role is resource planning and optimisation - ensuring the right people are on the right projects at the right time. You’ll work closely with the Project Managers, Sales and Delivery teams to align people, pipeline and project priorities.
You’ll also contribute to light-touch PMO activities, helping to reinforce Futureform’s delivery consistency, project setup, and continuous improvement practices. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on detail, enjoys bringing order to complexity, and wants to be a valued contributor within a highly collaborative delivery team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Act as the go-to-person for all Resource Management activity across the consultancy.
* Build strong relationships internally to understand project needs, team capabilities, and business priorities.
* Work with the Head of Delivery to balance profitability, delivery quality and team wellbeing through strategic resourcing decisions.
* Work with the Project Management team to proactively forecast upcoming demand and ensure the proper allocation of skilled resources with project timelines.
* Identify and address resourcing risks or gaps early - with clear communication and escalation where needed.
* Accurately track and monitor resource utilisation to help inform business planning and hiring decisions.
* Collaborate with Sales and Delivery teams to align pipeline with delivery readiness.
* Work with the Head of Delivery to develop a Skills Matrix to better assist with resourcing allocation.
* Own proposal review process to align sales and delivery to proposed time and effort.
* Continuously assess and improve resource processes, tooling and reporting to enhance delivery operations.
* Support PMO activities such as Jira project setup, project ongoing/closing processes, and lessons learned sessions.
* Champion delivery consistency by reinforcing key aspects of Futureform’s Delivery Methodology in collaboration with Project Managers.
* Provide input to proposal reviews, ensuring effort estimates are realistic and well-aligned with resourcing realities.
* Contribute insights to HR and leadership on skills development, under-utilisation, and stretch opportunities.
You’ll thrive in this role if you:
* Have hands-on experience as a Resource Manager (preferably within the Salesforce ecosystem).
* Understand how resourcing works in a project-based, fast-paced environment where skill sets matter as much as availability.
* Are comfortable using forecasting, utilisation and project data to make decisions.
* Have partnered with HR and worked effectively across cross-functional teams to support learning, development, and skills planning.
* Are operationally solid, but curious about the bigger picture and how delivery operations can enable growth.
* Are naturally collaborative, value transparency, and are comfortable escalating key decisions while owning the day-to-day.
* Are proactive in spotting inefficiencies and suggesting improvements — but also pragmatic enough to work within an evolving system.
* Have supported project operations or PMO activities before and are confident in maintaining consistency and governance.
What we offer:
* Generous home office allowance
* Private healthcare plan, pension matching
* Monthly in-person meet ups and team socials as well as a weekly Deliveroo lunch credit
* Regular professional development opportunities
* 25 days holiday, increasing annually
* Family-friendly policies including parental leave
* 2 days off a year to volunteer
