Job description:
We have an exciting position for a qualified professional to teach a combination of Level 3 Sociology classes and Criminology at Level 3, 4 and 5. Applicants ideally will have taught at this level previously, but we are open to applicants that have extensive industry experience and are looking to get into teaching. Applicants should hold at least a degree or equivalent with a recognised teaching qualification or be willing to study to gain the qualification.
In addition, you need to be an enthusiastic and motivated individual with the ability to engage with He and FE students to ensure they reach their full potential.

Responsibilities include:
* Delivering high‑quality teaching and assessment for Level 3–5 Sociology and Criminology courses.
* Planning and delivering engaging lesson plans and assessment activities.
* Providing academic support and mentoring to students to maximise their learning outcomes.
* Participating in departmental meetings, curriculum development and professional development activities.
* Maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment in accordance with safeguarding policies.
Qualifications:
* At least a degree or equivalent qualification.
* Recognised teaching qualification or willingness to study for one.
* Previous teaching experience at Level 3 or above is desirable.
* Experience in higher education or further education teaching valued.
