Title: Electronic Assembler III
Pay: $24–$25/hour
Hours: 5:30AM–2:00PM (Overtime available)
Location: Irvine, CA 92618
Duration: 9 month contract

The Electronic Assembler III performs manufacturing and assembly tasks according to detailed work instructions and engineering documentation. This role requires assembling components, wiring systems, and ensuring quality standards while following established manufacturing procedures.

You have experience in electronic or mechanical assembly and are comfortable working with hand tools, cabling, and harnessing. You can read assembly drawings and instructions, work accurately in a production environment, and collaborate with a team to meet manufacturing goals.
Job Description
* Assemble and install components using assembly instructions, diagrams, parts lists, and verbal directions
* Identify and select components to integrate into sub-assemblies and final assemblies
* Perform electronic and mechanical assembly using tools such as soldering irons, cutters, screwdrivers, and crimping tools
* Record job activity using computer systems
* Read and interpret engineering drawings and revision documentation
* Follow manufacturing assembly instructions and detailed production procedures
* Use internal systems to verify documentation and manufacturing requirements
* Assist with calibration tracking for tools and test equipment
* Support production teams and assist other departments such as warehouse, stockroom, or kitting when needed
* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and maintain organized work areas following Lean and 5S practices
Required Skills
* 3–5 years of electronic or mechanical assembly experience
* Experience with cabling, harnessing, or wiring assemblies
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and assembly instructions
* Experience using hand tools such as cutters, screwdrivers, and crimping tools
* Ability to follow detailed manufacturing procedures and documentation
* Strong communication skills and ability to follow verbal and written instructions
* Team-oriented and flexible to assist in multiple production areas
Education Requirements
High School Diploma or GED required. Technical certificate or related training preferred
Preferred Qualifications
* IPC-620 certification (prototype cable manufacturing)
* IPC-610 certification (mechanical assembly or soldering)
* Experience using manufacturing documentation systems or production databases
* Basic computer skills for accessing engineering documentation
