SEMH Learning Support Assistant (LSA) Hours: Full-time / Term-time Start Date: ASAP / Flexible Contract: Long-term / Permanent opportunities available We are seeking a dedicated and resilient SEMH Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a supportive school setting in Surrey, working with pupils who present Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. As an SEMH LSA, you will: Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with SEMH needs Support pupils with emotional regulation, behaviour management, and engagement in learning Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils who may display challenging behaviour Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral teams to support EHCP targets Has experience supporting SEMH, ASD, or challenging behaviour (school, PRU, AP, youth work, or care background welcomed) Is passionate about making a positive impact on young people's lives Holds (or is willing to apply for) an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service Competitive daily rates or salary (depending on experience) Ongoing CPD and training opportunities A supportive and experienced pastoral and SEN team Opportunity to gain valuable experience in SEMH and SEN education If you are committed to supporting pupils with SEMH needs and want to make a meaningful difference in a Surrey-based school, we would love to hear from you.
