As Platfform’s Volunteer Coordinator, you will be responsible for the delivery and development of Volunteer Strategy. Volunteering opportunities primarily across Caerphilly, with some coverage across Gwent This will involve working closely with our Head of People and Head of Employment & Volunteering to ensure a consistent approach is taken with all volunteering opportunities in line with our People Strategy and Volunteering Strategy.
You will be involved in all elements of the volunteer journey, including recruitment, selection, induction, training and the day-to-day management of our existing and new volunteers who support a range of projects across our adult and young people services.
This role requires creativity, drive and initiative, and a positive attitude to working with a variety of people at all levels.
Your role will require you to be present in underrepresented communities to showcase our services and opportunities to volunteer with us, within those services. Supporting engagement events and community connections to encourage volunteering, reduce anxiety of volunteering with peer support, and work alongside our existing projects to support people to engage in volunteering. You will be working alongside of the employability team.

You may be required to travel across Platfform’s areas of work in line with the needs of the role, therefore a driver license and access to your own transport is essential.
