1. Location: NI Water - Mobile throughout Northern Ireland
2. Hours Per Week: Monday - Friday, 40 Hours

4. Have a Multi-skilled approach
5. Carry out reactive and planned maintenance as well as some minor installations on water, wastewater and network water sites (occasional work outside the main contract may be required).
6. Observe the highest levels of health and safety at all times, including carrying out point of work risk assessments for every task to ensure the best possible working practices are adhered to.
7. Use your own initiative to solve complicated technical problems associated with reactive maintenance activities, including sourcing parts & materials and seeking manufacturer technical support.
8. Liaise closely with our control hub to ensure efficient response to all works either working on your own or as part of a team.
9. Provide detailed write-ups of works carried out to ensure our client is kept up to date at all times.
10. Pro-actively identify and report follow on works
11. Carry out all works within agreed timescales and to the highest standards, ensuring that you comply with current regulations and client specifications.
12. Undertake a range of electrical works including but not limited to planned maintenance (to a set specification), fault finding and cause diagnosis, overload setting, work on motors, electrical panels, lighting, variable speed drives, UPS systems, instrumentation and process equipment, level control equipment, communication equipment and telemetry systems.
13. Assist any other trade as required.
14. Deal with a variety of Clients on a daily basis. You will represent the Company and be courteous and professional in your dealings with them at all times.
15. Work unsupervised in a large geographical area and prioritise workload.
16. Provide regular out of hours cover by participating in an on-call rota.

About You
Essential Criteria
17. A recognised Electrical, ICA Craft or Technician apprenticeship
18. Full UK Driver’s License
Desirable Criteria
19. 12 months experience in ICA planned and reactive maintenance activities in the water industry
20. 12 months experience in providing call out services
21. Experience working around confined spaces
22. Registered CSCS/CSR Card (Or equivalent)
23. Current IEE Wiring Regulations
24. COSHH training
25. Confined space training
26. High Voltage awareness training
27. National Water Hygiene card holder
28. Manual Handling training
29. Experience of Profibus installations
30. Working knowledge of a wide range of analytical Instrumentation e.g., Chlorine, Turbidity
31. Experience assisting with various trades/types of maintenance on water and wastewater sites
32. Experience of SCADA systems
33. Experience of Pressure, level and flow instrumentation
