JOB TITLE: Quality Engineer
SALARY: £47,790 - £55,000
LOCATION: Birmingham
HOURS: Full time
WORKING PATTERN: Hybrid, 40% (or two days) in our Birmingham office.

Exciting opportunity for a Quality Practitioner to join the I&C Lab within Payment Services Platform and be part of a multi-skilled feature team, collaborating to ensure quality & customer requirements are met when developing products. You’ll define the test coverage and scope based on acceptance criteria to undertake robust testing (Automation & Exploratory), and mentor/coach colleagues on LBG Quality best practices.

What you’ll do…
* Apply principles of Software testing, including Functional and Non-Functional Testing, developing test scripts for easy to moderate scenarios, managing bugs within the team and dependencies across the lab.
* Create test scenarios based on Stories & Acceptance Criteria, managing bugs within the feature team and dependencies.
* Create & execute test cases using the LBG test management system and generate simple reports.
* Perform different types of Non-Functional testing based on requirements.
* Ensure proper test environment usage and define/test data requests accurately.
What you’ll need…
* Experience with GPP (GlobalPayPlus) and IPP applications.
* Experience testing End to End Payments journeys.
* Experience with GCP / Cloud architecture.
* Knowledge of testing Swift, GPP, IPP is preferable.
