Job Description
Our Real Estate team advises on all aspects of property investment and development, planning, and disputes. We act for a diverse client base including major development companies, banks, pension funds, private investors, and retail funds.
As part of our comprehensive service offering, our Bristol-based team handles a broad range of estate management matters and plays a key role in supporting high-value property portfolios.
The Role
You will manage a varied and busy caseload, with responsibilities including:
* Handling estate management transactions such as licences to assign, licences for alterations, deeds of variation, and deeds of easement
* Drafting correspondence to clients and third parties
* Preparing sale contracts and transfer documentation for conveyancing matters
* Reviewing existing leases, identifying defects, and drafting new, modern-form leases based on standard precedents
* Assisting with file opening procedures, including preparing initial drafts of retainer letters
* Ensuring compliance with anti-money laundering regulations and internal risk procedures
This is a hands-on role offering exposure to high-quality commercial real estate work within a supportive and collaborative team.

To be considered, you will demonstrate:
* Legal experience, ideally gained within a commercial real estate department
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a high-volume workload effectively
* Excellent attention to detail and the confidence to use your initiative
* A strong academic background, including a Law degree (2:1 or equivalent) or comparable qualification
