An exciting opportunity has arisen for a fixed term maternity cover HR Advisor to support our Human Resources team, within Northamptonshire Children's Trust.This will be a busy and varied role, providing first line professional HR advice and supporting a full range of HR matters, including case management, employment relations and service queries.You will be joining our small team of HR professionals, who have a variety of experience and CIPD/Industry recognised qualifications. The main priorities for the role are:Monitoring of shared HR Inbox with employee relation workforce type queriesProviding first line advice and guidance on HR issues to support both managers and colleagues within NCT, in line with employment law and Trust policies and proceduresUndertake regular work data analysis, including sickness and turnoverOther supportive tasks to the team, including Occupational Health referrals, invoice management, policy and process reviewing etcWe reserve the right to close this vacancy early if we receive sufficient applications for the role. Therefore, if you are interested, we encourage you to submit your application as early as possible.About youYou will need to be:A highly proficient advisor, or similar levelWell-organised and able to deal with multiple prioritiesLevel 3 CIPD qualified or equivalent in experience to be able to offer first line professional adviceA strong communicator with the confidence to engage with senior leads and external partners, building relationships and working with service providersResilient, with attention to detail and a can-do attitudeProficient in Microsoft packages with a strong focus for ExcelAble to demonstrate your previous experience of working within a HR or similar environment, delivering HR advice and support to customersExperience of revising processes advantageous When applying please ensure your supporting statement covers how you fulfil the essential criteria set out in the person specification as this will be used for shortlisting.
