What you'll do:
As a Finance Manager, you will play an integral role in promoting the success of the business by providing crucial financial information. Your excellent organisational skills will be put to use as you handle a varied and demanding workload, planning and prioritising tasks to meet deadlines and achieve objectives. You will also have the opportunity to demonstrate your leadership abilities by supervising, developing, recruiting and motivating the accounts team.
* Maintain and improve controls to achieve a strong control environment
* Deliver timely and accurate financial reporting, meeting JV partner reporting requirements
* Supervise, develop, recruit and motivate the accounts team
* Prepare and maintain financial accounting records including control accounts
* Ensure compliance with current VAT/CIS legislation
* Handle ad-hoc work in connection with financial processes, financial reporting or internal controls as required
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Finance Manager position brings extensive experience from a similar role within an industry setting. Your IT literacy, particularly with Excel and Word, will be essential for this role. Experience in the construction industry and familiarity with EVision / Microsoft NAV would be beneficial. As a qualified accountant (CIMA or equivalent), you possess strong technical skills. Your excellent interpersonal skills will enable you to interact effectively with all levels of management.
* 5+ years of experience in a similar finance manager role within an industry setting
* Proficiency in IT applications such as Excel and Word
* Experience in the construction industry is desirable
* Experience in using EVision / Microsoft NAV is advantageous
