MacKenzie King are excited to be recruiting an Interim Accountant, on a 7-month fixed term contract, to join a reputable business based in Hadleigh. As an Interim Accountant you will be confident in documenting processes and participating in subsequent process reviews to improve internal controls and efficiencies.
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Apply hands on processing skills to access financial information directly from source systems.
* Produce analysis that evidences the accuracy and completeness of accounting accruals and financial accounting statements, including internal management accounts and statutory reports.
* Demonstrate strong knowledge of core accounting and transaction cycles for an SME, including:
* Procurement to Pay
* Order to Cash
* Record to Reporting
* Manage transaction processing linked to a long-established Invoice Financing facility, ensuring:
* An up to date and fully reconciled sales ledger
* Accurate reporting and processing of client debit notes
* Correct treatment of retrospective discounts, overriders and sales support charges.
Key Skills & Attributes:
* Qualified accountant or QBE will be considered.
* Strong financial reporting and process documentation skills.
* Hands on approach to data, analysis and reconciliations.
* Highly organised, calm under pressure and able to prioritise.
* Confident, self-motivated and collaborative.
