An exciting opportunity exists for a Senior Project Manager within our Digital Programmes team. The post holder will manage projects, and be a key team member, helping to support a transformational digital modernisation programme.

Managing one or more projects independently in complex situations, as well as supervising others applying the competence; including

* empowering and inspiring others to deliver successful projects

* establishing and maintaining governance arrangements

Qualifications

* Educated to degree level or equivalent, or be able to demonstrate an equivalent level of knowledge

Experience

* Demonstrable experience of managing complex projects, preferably using PRINCE2
* Evidence of working with multi-disciplinary staff across diverse professions to specific solutions to support the successful delivery of projects
* Developing and leading teams
* Managing conflict
* Securing the provision of resources needed to deliver a project
* Researching, assessing and prioritising stakeholder requirements
* Preparation and maintenance of schedules for activities and events for projects, taking into account dependencies and resource requirements
* Establishing and agreeing and overall budget for a project and monitoring financial performance against it
* Experienced in the creation of consolidated plans to support overall management of a project, taking account of previous lessons learned and including: business case; constraints, assumptions and dependencies; governance arrangements; benefit realisation
