Job Title: Senior Network Engineer
Location: Frimley. This role will require full on site working
What you’ll be doing:
Managing the verification and validation of designs ready for testing
Providing support to external suppliers as and when required to ensure secure and robust communications
Oversee the investigation of issues and suggesting resolutions/updates to design teams as part of their day-to-day routine
Maintain and update the test database whilst applying learning from test runs to future test sets
Produce documentation required to support the design review process, including: diagrams; technical specifications; supporting calculations; design evidence and justifications
Ensure network design proving evidence is comprehensive, captured within the requirements management tools and has been endorsed by the appropriate level of authority
Your skills and experiences:
Strong Virtual and Physical Network Architecture experience will be required
Previous experience of working with spine and leaf network configurations/architectures
You will need to have worked with implementing and configuration of VRFs and VLANs
Network gateway configurations and protocols experience
Previous experience of working with Network firewalls
Knowledge and experience of BGP. LLDP, Spanning tree, clustering
