Our client requires Assistant General Managers and Assistant Managers with the highest standards for operations, guest experience, team development, and financial achievement. The position aims to deliver all company objectives regarding restaurant revenue, profit, people development, training, and guest service by planning, leading, and directing restaurant operations as the #2 and #3 in command alongside the General Manager.

* Provide a comprehensive compensation package between $85,000 - $120,000 that takes various factors into consideration, including market rates, experience, and qualifications

Key Activities
* Responsible for creating and enhancing a restaurant culture that drives excellence in hospitality, including top-line revenues, service standards, quality from culinary and bar teams, strong morale, and superior profit management to achieve financial goals
* Work closely with the Executive Chef to establish, direct and review performance standards in food preparation and production to ensure quality, specifications, service, and cost controls
* Monitor, direct, and coordinate sanitation, cleanliness, and organization; manage capital expenditures with the Regional Director
* Establish, direct, and review beverage programs to ensure accountability, quality, presentation, and service in collaboration with the bar team
* Remain current on applicable laws and regulations; produce approved budgets and operate within guidelines for costs, expenses, sales, and profits
* General Managers oversee recruitment, training, development, and mentoring of current leaders
* Direct involvement in and follow up on disciplinary action and performance management of all management team members
* Conduct frequent site reviews and audits to ensure excellence in all areas
* Handle or assist with guest complaints and coordinate proper follow up
* Oversee development of management and crew through coaching and guidance
* Prepare local financial and operational weekly reporting; analyze financial results and variances; ensure practices meet yearly targets
* Monitor restaurant expenses to ensure cost containment and alignment with industry standards
* Evaluate training procedures to ensure high guest satisfaction
Qualifications
* Minimum of 2-5 years of operational success, proven multiple-year experience as a restaurant General Manager, knowledge of operational systems including kitchen and food development, and proven financial management
* Proven strength with costing, cost controls, spreadsheet analysis, and recipe preparation; proficient with business software in a professional environment
* Excellent knowledge of desktop software (Windows, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and POS systems
* Knowledge of premium casual kitchen equipment, design, and systems
* Strong understanding of sanitation, health and safety and related systems
* Exceptional work ethic with detailed written and verbal communication skills
* Time management, efficiency, and ability to multi-task
* Strong communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills
* Willingness to travel extensively within the region and Canada; valid drivers license and reliable vehicle required
* A college or university degree in hospitality, restaurants and culinary arts, or equivalent; business education background is an asset
