Robert Half Finance & Accounting are recruiting for an interim Accounts Assistant, working for a rewarding business based in Gloucester - With parking & hybrid working.
This is a temporary contract is for an initial period of 3 months.
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 3 months (circa)
Salary: £30,000 (Hourly rate equivalent)
Working hours - Full time is 37.5 hours per week, also open to minimum of 30 per week
You will use your skills to:
* Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks
* Bank reconciliations
* VAT returns
* Record financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments
* Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of all financial data
* Process accounts payable and accounts receivable invoices in a timely manner
* Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
* Assist with payroll - collating information and reviewing
Requiredexperience/background:
* Previous experience in a similar role
* Team player
* Computer literate
* Excellent organisational skills
* Comfortable using Excel
* Willing to learn
