Transport Operator - Doncaster - Up to £34,000
Our client, who are a recognized transport company are looking for an experienced Transport Planner to join their team in Doncaster.
As Transport Planner, you will be experienced in dealing with containers and routing company-owned vehicles UK-wide.
Job type: Permanent
Hours: 4 on, 4 off - Days (Start times vary from 6am to 9am)
Salary: Up to £34,000 DOE
The Role:
* Routing company owned vehicles
* You must Plan routes as cost effectively as possible
* Plan routes in line with WTD and Drivers Hours
* Ensure all customers are kept up to date
* All necessary admin must be completed
* You will be working with the Manager to ensure that all vehicles are in compliance with company standards
* Perform and correctly implement General Administration, e.g. costing, agreeing charge rates with contractors, queries in accordance with the companies' requirements.
The Requirements:
* Extensive Transport route planning skills
* Container experience required
* Excellent geographical knowledge
* Strong communication skills
