? About the Role
We’re looking for a Deputy Manager to support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of our service and ensure the highest standards of care and compliance in line with Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) regulations and the Regulation and Inspection of Social Care (Wales) Act 2016.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Supporting the Registered Manager in operational oversight of the service
* Ensuring care delivery meets legal and quality standards set by CIW
* Supervising, mentoring, and developing care staff
* Managing rotas, staffing levels, and continuity of care
* Supporting audits, care planning, and risk assessments
* Maintaining accurate records and responding to safeguarding concerns
* Building strong relationships with service users, families, and professionals
What We’re Looking For
You’ll be an organised and compassionate professional who understands the social care landscape in Wales and is ready to contribute to service excellence and team development.
Essential Requirements:
* Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (Adults) (minimum)
* Working towards Level 5 Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care (Wales) (or willing to begin)
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a senior care role or deputy manager position
* Excellent knowledge of CIW regulations and Welsh legislation
* Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
