Plumber Multi Trader – South Birmingham. Social Housing. Temp to Perm. £20 - £21 per hour + van & fuel card.
We are working with a leading Repairs and Maintenance Contractor within the Social Housing sector to recruit a Plumber Multi Trader to join their team in South Birmingham. As an operative within the Social Housing sector, you will play a crucial role in the maintenance and improvement of properties, ensuring all work is completed to a high quality and in compliance with H&S and relevant regulations. Your role will focus on carrying out routine property maintenance and completing multiple jobs per day, ensuring a best in class standard of customer service is provided to the residents and their homes in which you're working.
Responsibilities
* Carry out routine property maintenance across social housing properties.
* Complete multiple jobs per day while maintaining high quality workmanship.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and relevant standards.
* Provide excellent customer service to residents and maintain professional relationships on-site.
Qualifications / Experience
* Proven experience as a Plumber Multi in social housing or a similar environment.
* City & Guilds / NVQ in Plumbing Level 2 (desirable).
* Knowledge of NHF Sors (desirable).
* Relevant plumbing trade qualifications, CSCS card, and Asbestos Awareness (Desirable).
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance.
* Experience using a PDA and good IT skills with experience using job scheduling software.
* Willingness to undertake a DBS check with no unspent criminal convictions.
* Full UK manual driving license.
