NES Fircroft are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer for our client, who are a lead industrial user of additive manufacturing.

Job title: Maintenance Engineer
Location: Worcester
Contract position
Pay rate: £28/hour
Shifts: 7am-3pm Mon-Fri
Responsibilities
* Perform routine and preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment, and systems.
* Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and carry out timely repairs.
* Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
* Collaborate with production and operations teams to minimize disruption.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
* Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
* Monitor inventory of spare parts and tools, and coordinate procurement as needed.
* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and suggest process enhancements.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer or similar role.
* Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
* Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
* Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) is a plus.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
* Relevant technical qualification (e.g., HNC/HND, NVQ, or equivalent in Engineering or related field).
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in [industry-specific experience, e.g., manufacturing, food processing, pharmaceuticals].
* Certification in health and safety (e.g., IOSH, NEBOSH) Advantageous
* PLC troubleshooting and programming knowledge.
