Job Description
As a Graduate Project Manager, you will coordinate and support one or more projects, ensuring compliance with processes, maintaining key project documentation, and helping deliver projects to budget, schedule, and quality requirements. These projects span maintenance and enhancement of UKAEA’s world-class fusion devices and the development of new facilities that advance enabling technologies, all contributing to the mission of progressing fusion energy toward commercialisation. Your core responsibilities will include:
* Work closely with Project Manager on variety of projects and ensuring that they are executed to a high standard according to established project and technical management processes, leading to delivered solutions of an engineering integrity commensurate with nuclear operations.
* Responsible for the creation and management of key documentation for the project(s).
* Analyse Project Data (including finances) and produce standard project reports.
* Coordinate and being proactive in closing actions for project manager.
As part of the 20% dedicated to training and development, you will complete a core suite of activities aimed at enhancing your professional and business skills, with flexibility to tailor the programme to both your personal development and the needs of your specific role.
Qualifications
* Degree in STEM or Business from 2025 or '26
* Confident with all Microsoft applications including Excel, Word and Powerpoint
* Driven, with a strong appetite to learn and take on new challenges
* Able to collaborate effectively and communicate clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
* Well organised and adaptable with the ability to plan and prioritise workload
