Quest Employment are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client in Bedford for a Machine Operator to join their team on permanent contract. Our client is looking for a Machine Operator who is hardworking, ambitious and flexible.
As an Operator you will be required to Operate Plant Machinery and equipment efficiently to produce a product within the Food Safety and Quality system.
Salary: £28,129 per annum with an annual shift allowance of £3,288.96.
Hours: 6am -6pm and 6pm - 6am, 4 on 4 off
RESPONSIBILITIES:
To ensure Health and Safety standards are maintained and adhered to at all times.
To set up and diagnose Plant machinery to run at its maximum efficiency.
To understand workings of all machinery and auxiliary components to achieve maximum throughput and quality.
To diagnose and reports faults on all machinery.
To work to daily production targets.
To complete Pre-start HACCP checks and relevant magnets across the plant.
Notify your line manager of any potential Health & Safety issues.

Excellent attention to detail
Experience of working in factory environment is essential
Experience of working in a process environment is advantageous
Physically fit and capable to working across multiple floors and at height
