Are you ready to elevate your career in a role that blends innovation, challenge, and opportunity?Were seeking a talented Application Engineer to join our thriving Addlestone office! Step into a key position where your technical expertise and problem-solving skills will drive world-class engineering solutions for Schindler Group projects. This is a full time, permanent role.
What Youll Do:
Lead application engineering processes, ensuring full compliance with industry standards and Schindler Group guidelines
Coordinate resources to achieve financial, quality, and efficiency targetsdelivering solutions with first pass yield and on-time delivery.
Champion customer-centric support, keeping stakeholders informed and empowered with knowledge of our products and tools
Design and engineer both custom and pre-engineered lift solutions, from initial concept through to delivery
Produce detailed process calculations, design specifications, and layout drawings to the highest standards
Perform final configuration, generate bills of materials, and prevent costly gaps in the process
Oversee rigorous checks and risk analyses to ensure precision and safety
Provide expert technical support, solve claims, and collaborate closely with project managers
Uphold and promote our safety culture, actively contributing to Schindlers health and safety objectives.
Profile description:
What Were Looking For:
Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
Proven experience in engineering design and technical calculations
Hands-on with CAD (ideally 3D) and AutoCAD
Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Office, and Schindlers design tools: Drive, Rail, Car Weight Calculation, LBLC, LiftDesigner, CREO Parametrics/Simulate, PNC, MODB, and Lotus Notes
Customer-focused, results-driven, and a strong communicator
