Job Purpose:
The Health and Safety Manager is responsible for ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for all co-workers, primarily focusing on warehouse operations. This involves developing, implementing, and maintaining health and safety policies to minimize risks and ensure compliance with the Health and Safety at Work Act.
Responsibilities:
* Developing and maintaining Health and Safety policies.
* Conducting risk assessments and managing risks.
* Providing training and education on safety practices.
* Investigating incidents and reporting findings.
* Ensuring compliance through audits.
* Managing health and safety across all TD SYNNEX UK & I office locations (Basingstoke, Bracknell, Warrington).
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
* 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience.
* 3 to 5 years of experience managing or supervising employees.
* NEBOSH qualification preferred.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to lead and inspire teams to foster a safety culture.
* Knowledge of regulatory requirements and audit procedures.
* Experience in incident investigation and root cause analysis.
* Skilled in designing and delivering safety training programs.
* Proficient in hazard identification and risk management strategies.
* Attention to detail in safety protocols and compliance.
