As a Student Engagement Assistant, you’ll be right at the heart of the action — creating vibrant events, crafting standout digital content and becoming a go‑to ambassador for Acis Students. No two days look the same. One moment you’re running welcome days or buzzing fresher’s fairs, the next you’re producing eye‑catching social media campaigns or guiding students through accommodation viewings. As a Student Engagement Assistant, your role may vary depending on your skills and experience. However, typical tasks might include:
1. Organising and delivering events, activities, workshops, open days, welcome days and drop-ins
2. Sharing information and messages through a range of methods including visual displays and promotional campaigns
3. Producing high quality and engaging social media and digital content that can be used on all relevant platforms
4. Attending sales and marketing events such as accommodation and fresher’s fairs
5. Being an ambassador for Acis Students sharing information about our services with a wide range of audiences
6. Completing viewings of the accommodation, sharing information about your experience and helping resolve enquiries

What will make you stand out from the crowd:
16. Keeping people safe is important to us, in addition to the mandatory training we’ll provide, a willingness to do further training around first aid and mental health may be required.

18. You will have a track record of exhibiting positive behaviour in line with your tenancy obligations, during your stay with us
19. You’ll be adept at change, having got hands-on experience living and breathing new ways of working and knowing how to bring your colleagues along for the experience.
There are a number of opportunities depending on your skills and preferences. All of these opportunities are flexible to work around your studies on a zero hours contract. This can be discussed further at interview stage
