About the role
Vision for Education are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team, working across Peterborough and the surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for a committed individual who is passionate about supporting young people in their educational journey.
This is a full-time role to start ASAP.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Work closely with the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons
2. Work on a 1:1 basis to provide targeted support
3. Support students with additional needs
4. Assist with classroom management and behaviour support
1:1 Teaching Assistant Requirements:
5. Recent experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role
6. A background in education, support work or care work
7. A patient, proactive, and committed approach
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
9. A genuine passion for supporting children and young people
