Due to continued success, we are recruiting for a Trainee Terminal Operative to work at our Traffic Park Rail Terminal in Hams Hall. The shift pattern will be Monday to Friday on a weekly rotaion of AM/PM shifts. Why work for Maritime Transport? You’ll be working for one of the market leaders The role: Face to face dealings with drivers, booking both loaded and empty units in and out of the terminal Adding both train arrivals and departures to the system Dealing with yard operations over a 2-way radio Dealing with customers both on the telephone and by email Chasing down units to rail to maximise the train capacity, ensuring no wagons go out empty. Administrative duties – checks carried out to try and capture any mistakes that may have occurred and correcting these before any credit notes are required.
