Warehouse Stock Operative
Location: St. Helens
Salary: £23,907 per annum
Our client is an innovative and market-leading organisation providing audit services to some of the UK and Europe's largest Food, DIY, and Apparel retailers. We engage, listen, and work with our customers in a trusted manner, often operating as an extension of their own teams to deliver value-added business. Due to continued success, we are now looking for Warehouse staff for the following position.
The position
* This is a full-time, permanent position based at our customer's distribution centre.
* Rate of pay: £23,907 per annum
* Weekly hours: 37.5 hours plus a 30-minute unpaid break each day
* Shift Patterns: 5 days out of 7, shifts between 11am-7pm
* Working Environment: Chilled
A day in the life of a Warehouse Stock Operative
As a Warehouse Stock Operative, you will work as part of a dynamic and supportive team in a fast-paced, target-driven environment to ensure the accuracy of stock entering or leaving the depot.
Activities may vary, and you may be required to work across multiple workstreams such as Goods Inbound checks, Picker Accuracy audits, and Load Adherence checks, many of which involve manual handling.
Job activities
* Audit the inbound accuracy of supplier deliveries on the GFR program.
* Audit picker accuracy of stock destined for stores and fully investigate all errors found.
* Adhere to agreed audit and error verification procedures at all times.
* Maintain integrity at all times.
* Achieve expected productivity levels in line with customer expectations.
* Review daily targets in line with customer expectations.

Job requirements
* Ability to respond actively to verbal instructions and audible warning devices
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal
* Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
* Must be aged 18 or over
