The Role:
At Hoar Cross Hall, we're looking for a Head Waiter / Waitress to join our team and help drive high standards across our restaurant operations.
As a key support to the Restaurant Management team, you’ll play a central role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, maintaining exceptional service quality, and training and motivating our Food and Beverage Assistants to meet and exceed expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver excellent customer service and ensure a positive dining experience for all guests.
* Support and motivate team members to maintain high service standards.
* Assist in planning and overseeing daily restaurant operations, including opening/closing duties and cleaning schedules.
* Monitor quality, guest feedback, and staffing levels.
* Assist with training and development of new and existing team members.
* Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety and Food Hygiene standards (including COSHH and PPE usage).
* Maintain restaurant cleanliness, atmosphere, and presentation.
* Record any complimentary items and wastage accurately.
* Ensure all customer special requests and dietary requirements are managed with care and attention.
* Stay informed on current menus and ingredients.
* Uphold company uniform and appearance standards.
Personal Specification:
Essential:
* Proven experience in a food and beverage or hospitality environment.
* Strong leadership skills with a hands-on, team-first attitude.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
* A commitment to high standards of service, cleanliness, and safety.
* Confidence in managing guest complaints professionally and effectively.
* A passion for training and developing others.
Shift Pattern:
* Full-time - 37.5 hours per week
* Shifts are spread across 5 days a week, including weekends
* Full flexibility is required, as shifts will adapt based on team and business needs
