The Group Future Talent partner, will scope, develop and embed prioritised internal and external programmes and activities, supporting key talent pipelines so we have robust succession planning, and the right capabilities in critical populations across our Group. You’ll work to understand priorities, learning needs and opportunities,, designing programmes to release the potential of our future leaders and support critical roles required across the business. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders, develop innovative approaches, and ensure the continuous development and retention of top talent. This role requires a strategic approach to future talent development and a deep understanding of learning and development.
What you'll be doing
* Owns the approach to all talent programmes across all Group businesses, working with People Business Partners and stakeholders to prioritise, build and deliver activities which will support the succession needs of key business areas.
Utilise data-driven insights and market trends to inform plans and activities
Brings expertise on the generational shift of the workforce into the People Team and organisation
Work across the Group to understand the need for future talent initiatives and activities in response to key capability and succession requirements.
Work with key stakeholders including our people business partners to review talent succession planning to ensure strategic plans are aligned.
Recommend programmes and approaches to engage, develop and retain future talent across the Group, in line with business priorities.
Scope, build and deliver development and learning activities based on priority needs to support attraction and retention of future talent
Work with and effectively manage relevant internal and external partners to deliver a great colleague learning experience where required.
Manage ad-hoc requests for Advanced Apprenticeships and liaise with individuals, functional leaders and providers to ensure further development of key talent is prioritised, and ensure quality assurance and effective use of levy funds.
Conduct regular evaluations and assessments to gather feedback from colleagues and stakeholders and identify opportunities for improvement.
Regularly evaluate work through feedback, and analyse data and insights to evaluate effectiveness, make decisions and refine learning programs.
Work in partnership with Talent Acquisition team to seamlessly create a great colleague experience for any external future talent hires
