The PPP Start Up Capability (Commissioning & Pre-Operations) play a vital part in all the projects by ensuring our new-build or modified plants are transitioned to safe and reliable operations. The role
Due to retirement and new projects coming on line in the future, we are looking for Commissioning Managers to join a fantastic team to oversee commissioning/start up right from initial strategy through pre-commissioning, acceptance testing and construction/completions stages to handover. You will manage teams of Leads, Engineers, and Technicians often across various locations to ensure commissioning work is executed to meet legal, regulatory and project requirements. People management and leadership are key elements of this role as you will set and approve delivery plans as well as manage work progress and performance and, where appropriate, take the necessary corrective actions. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Commissioning Professional with proven leadership skills to play a key role in delivering major projects as part of PPP and develop their career into a Senior Management role in the future.
The ideal person
You will have a Degree/ Level 6 qualification in a relevant discipline as well as experience in managing a multi-disciplined engineering teams delivering technical packages with demonstrable evidence of success against agreed project schedules. You’ll also have experience in managing commissioning activities in a highly regulated environment on large scale projects.
Communication will be one of your key strengths as you will manage an array of stakeholders across the project and wider program as well as holding direct line management responsibility for your own teams.
