The role
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering projects to a high standard, mentoring junior staff, and supporting innovation and continuous development of the team and output. This key role requires close collaboration with senior team members and technical specialists in other disciplines. Specific tasks include, but are not limited to, designing and managing ground investigations and monitoring, interpretative reporting including Phase 1 and Phase 2 land contamination assessments, producing remediation strategies, and supervising and validating remedial works.

About you
* BSc in Geology, Engineering Geology, Environmental Science, or a related field; MSc is advantageous.
* Soil/Rock logging to BS5930 standards.
* Knowledge of relevant UK contaminated land legislation and guidelines.
* Experience in designing, supervising, and managing geo-environmental site investigations.
* Experience in land contamination assessment – soil, water, ground gas, and DQRA.
* Experience in contributing to remedial options appraisals, designs, specifications, and validation reports.
* Experience in preparing fee proposals for geo-environmental projects.
* Excellent project management skills.
* Chartered or working towards chartership through a professional institution.
* Full driving license.
