About the Role
Reporting to the Forecast & Demand Manager, you will own the delivery of accurate, timely sales volume forecasts and demand plans, consistently exceeding agreed accuracy targets. You will support supply chain and finance teams, enhance forecasting processes, and help reduce working capital by optimising factory capacity and improving Customer Service Levels.
Key responsibilities
* Deliver accurate demand forecasts that support volume, EBITDA, and material/packaging planning targets while optimising customer service and operational efficiency.
* Lead the consensus forecasting process with sales, marketing and planning across all horizons (1‑13 weeks, 3‑12 months, 12 months+), ensuring issues are resolved or escalated.
* Improve working capital by enhancing forecast accuracy and aligning inventory policies with the Master Scheduler.
* Manage all commercial and marketing inputs, challenge assumptions, and support new business evaluations with commercial, operations and finance teams.
* Ensure high‑quality data and insight feed into S&OP, monitor forecast accuracy, and embed risk‑mitigation actions to strengthen demand planning performance.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have two years’ supply chain experience in FMCG, with strong skills in forecasting or demand planning. They will have experience working with commercial teams and retailers, and be confident using data and systems to generate insight. They will communicate well, build strong cross‑functional relationships, and be comfortable challenging assumptions. A continuous‑improvement mindset is essential.
