Job Description
* Ensure properties comply with all relevant safety and regulatory standards.
* Conduct regular inspections and audits of properties within the portfolio.
* Maintain up-to-date records of compliance checks and certifications.
* Coordinate with contractors and service providers for necessary repairs or updates.
* Monitor changes in legislation and ensure policies are updated accordingly.
* Provide detailed reports on compliance status to senior management.
* Support tenants with any compliance-related concerns or queries.
* Assist in the development of compliance training materials for staff.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Property Compliance Officer should have:
* Experience in property compliance or a related field within the not-for-profit sector.
* Knowledge of housing regulations and safety standards.
* Strong organisational and record-keeping skills.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail.
* Familiarity with property management systems or software is a plus.
