EYFS Teacher
About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and nurturing EYFS Teacher to join our welcoming primary school in Sheffield, working within our Reception class. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate practitioner to inspire young learners at the very start of their educational journey.
You will play a key role in delivering a high-quality Early Years curriculum, creating a stimulating, safe, and inclusive environment where every child can thrive.
Key Responsibilities
1. Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons in line with the EYFS framework
2. Support children’s development across all areas of learning
3. Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment
4. Use observation and assessment to monitor progress and inform planning
5. Work closely with teaching assistants and other staff
6. Build positive relationships with parents and carers
7. Contribute to the wider life of the school
About You
We are looking for a teacher who:
8. Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
9. Has experience or a strong interest in Early Years / Reception teaching
10. Demonstrates a sound understanding of the EYFS framework
11. Is creative, energetic, and passionate about early childhood education
12. Has excellent communication and organisational skills
13. Is committed to high standards of teaching and learning
14. Works well as part of a team and contributes positively to school life
