Job Description
Role: SAP B1 Architect
Contract Length: 2-3 months initially
Day Rate: Market Rate (outside IR35)
Location: Fully Remote from UK/EUR
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP B1 Architect to lead a full review and assessment of the existing SAP Business One landscape, conduct an in-depth audit, and design the roadmap for improvements. Following the assessment phase, the architect will be responsible for driving the implementation of recommended changes, ensuring the solution is aligned with business needs and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the review and assessment of the current SAP Business One solution, identifying gaps, risks, and opportunities for optimisation.
* Conduct a structured audit of business processes, system configuration, integrations, and reporting.
* Define and document the target architecture and improvement roadmap for SAP Business One.
* Provide recommendations and design solutions to improve performance, scalability, and compliance.
* Collaborate with stakeholders across finance, supply chain, and operations to ensure requirements are captured and addressed.
* Drive the implementation of approved changes, ensuring alignment with business goals.
* Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and external partners.
* Ensure governance, quality assurance, and best practice adoption throughout the engagement.
Required Experience
* Proven expertise with SAP Business One, including architecture and implementation.
* Strong track record in solution assessments and audits within SAP Business One environments.
* Experience in stakeholder management and ability to engage with business leaders, process owners, and IT teams.
* Hands-on experience in delivering improvements, upgrades, and optimization projects for SAP Business One.
* Strong documentation, presentation, and communication skills.
