Role Overview
North Central London Integrated Care System (NCL) – a North Central London Integrated Care System wide role hosted by University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (UCLH) within the IPMO (Integrating Pharmacy and Medicines Optimisation) Programme Team. The role represents all NHS provider organisations within NCL, working with NCL Trusts, Integrated Care Board, Primary Care Networks, community pharmacies, care homes, local authorities and voluntary sectors.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the NCL Joint Formulary Committee (JFC) in collaboration with the NCL JFC Chair, developing, implementing and maintaining a sector‑wide medicines formulary, medicines pathways and position statements.
* Provide secretariat support to the NCL Interface Prescribing Group to promote safe transition of medication prescribing across sectors.
* Support the safe transition of medicines prescribing at the interface, ensuring evidence‑based and cost‑effective use of medicines.
* Collaborate with the team to support the transition to the merged West & North London Integrated Care Board (WNL ICB).
Location & Working Arrangements
The office is based at 250 Euston Road, London. Travel to other NCL sites may be required on occasion. Remote work is possible for part of the week.
