Overview

Key Responsibilities
* Oversee and manage the entire optical operation, including the team of optometrists and optical assistants.
* Ensure compliance with processes and procedures, review sales forecasting and department targets.
* Manage clinic operations and shop floor processes to support customer needs.
* Coach and develop the team in close partnership with optometrists.
* Handle customer queries and maintain high quality patient service.
* Organise and manage time effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
* Maintain and update business performance and receive regular feedback.
Requirements
* Fully qualified dispensing optician registered with the GOC.
* On track to meet statutory CPD points requirement.
* Confident in coaching and leadership within a fast‑paced optics environment.
* Excellent customer and patient care skills.
* Driven and ambitious to meet department targets.
* Organised with strong time‑management abilities.
