About you: You are a dedicated education specialist with a Level 3 or above qualification, who has worked as a Senior EYE, Deputy, or Nursery Manager, and are now seeking a new challenge within Learning and Development.
In this pivotal role, you will support early years educators, enhancing their skills and practices to ensure the delivery of high-quality education. Your passion for education, understanding of the sector's importance, and your natural warmth and positivity will be invaluable assets.
What you'll be doing
As a Regional Nursery Coach for Storal's South West region, you will ensure a culture of excellence, high standards, and continuous improvement across supported nurseries.
Your knowledge of child development and pedagogical approaches will enable you to coach and mentor nursery staff, assisting in developing and implementing educational programs aligned with EYFS standards.
You will:
* Collaborate with nursery managers to assess and improve educational outcomes
* Support curriculum development and innovative teaching practices
* Facilitate workshops and training sessions to build staff capacity and drive educational excellence, mentoring EY Educators, and modeling best practices
* Ensure consistently high-quality teaching and learning
* Coach management teams on bringing curriculum to life
* Support teams in working with parents on their child's learning
What you'll need
* Relevant qualifications in Early Years Education (Level 3 or above)
* A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for travel to multiple locations, some outside public transport routes
* Proven experience in an educational or coaching role within the early years sector
* Comprehensive understanding of the EYFS framework
* Strong communication skills to engage and motivate staff
* A commitment to ongoing professional development and innovation
* Experience in Nursery Management as a Senior EYE, Deputy, or Nursery Manager
* Excellent verbal communication skills for mentoring and coaching
* Active listening skills to understand educators' barriers
* A passion for the vital role of educators in the sector and with young children
* Experience working with all Early Years age groups
