DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Transport Manager to play a vital role coordinating our daily warehouse and distribution requirements.
WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:
* Reporting to the Regional General Manager, your role will hold full accountability for service and delivery as well as strategic development of the Transport Department
* Implement and manage transport TMS
* Lead and develop the Transport Team
* Investigate / implement DHL initiatives through the Transport division to drive value for the Customer and DHL
* Network integration of deliveries to optimise cost savings and unlock synergie
* Deploy resource to ensure maximum service levels adherence with minimal cost impact
* Analysis of any special delivery requests and detail impact of changes to the Network and costings

* IT Literate, with Microsoft Office experience
