English Teacher (SEMH) Full time, Permanent Christchurch Start date - September 2024 The School and Role An SEMH school based in Christchurch are currently seeking a English Teacher to start in September 2024. The school caters for young people aged 11 to 16 years old who have Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH). The students have a range of needs that include childhood trauma, social anxiety, school phobia, Autism, ADHD, Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA) and Oppositional Defiance Disorder (ODD), among others. The successful candidate will have an excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum and will be able to plan innovative and engaging lessons that will meet the needs of children with a variety of abilities.
